Had a wonderful experience! I was able to check in before leaving my house and the staff were super friendly. The doctor took the time to explain everything to me and they were even able to give her the first dose of antibiotics since my pharmacy was closing shortly. If I need to go to a pediatric urgent care again, I would definitely come back here. Thank you for taking such great care of my daughter.

Yesterday was the worst day of my life, thus far. Nurse Neffi is a gift from God. Thank you for all you did for my family. We will never forget.

We had a great experience at CHOA urgent care. My son fell and hit his head at school and required stitches. The entire team was kind, professional, and moved us through the process efficiently so he could be taken care of. Dr. Demander was excellent and kept my son comfortable and distracted the whole time so he didn’t even notice the stitches. She also took the time to answer all my questions without making us feel rushed at all. The staff even sweetly wished my son a happy birthday. I was very impressed and would definitely come back in the future.

The Providers along with staff members are very courteous and they care for patients and parents. Providers are very informative to both the patient and parent. From intake to discharge you will enjoy the experience.

I Sunday 03/29 I checked in at registration and explained what had been happening with my son.

The previous night and again Sunday morning, I noticed he was having difficulty breathing. The area around his stomach/ribs visibly sinks in when he breathes, especially while he is sleeping. This was very concerning to me, which is why I came in seeking medical attention. I wanted guidance on whether he may need treatment to help clear his sinuses or prevent blockage while recovering from seasonal allergies.

However, during registration, the staff member briefly looked at him and stated that he seemed “completely normal,” without a proper evaluation.

After I sat down, I overheard her making comments to the security guard, shaking her head and saying things like “you can tell when someone is having trouble breathing,” along with other dismissive remarks. This felt unprofessional and inappropriate.

I am here because I am genuinely concerned about my child’s breathing, and I would appreciate a proper medical evaluation and respectful treatment.

I do want to clarify that this has always been one of the urgent care locations closest to me, and I have visited many times since it opened. The doctors and nurses have consistently been excellent and caring. This is the first time I’ve had a negative experience.

That said, it is concerning when front desk staff begin offering medical opinions or dismissing patient concerns without a proper clinical assessment.

    Overall, this experience was disappointing.
