Took our kitten Emma to get spayed. Was looking at her belly today and you can't even tell she's been cut into really and you only know something has been done because her belly has been shaved. Amazing! Last cat I had, I took to a reduced fee clinic that had pets lined up out the door. When I picked her up they barely gave instructions and when I looked at her scar, it was horrible! I thought that was a normal looking scar until I saw Emma's. Now I REALLY know how horrible the other one was. Never have used Polk Veterinarian and I needed my female dog Honey spayed, I called and asked several questions about the process and cost. I had all questions answered in depth and set an appointment. The front desk attendant was nothing short of amazing. I'm disabled so she gave me a window period to accommodate my family's work schedule. She came from behind the desk and sat down with us, to gain Honey's trust eventhough she was making a low growl. I cannot say enough good about Polk Vet Care. My pup was in a fight on Wednesday and showed progressive signs of infection, including swelling in his legs, which kept him from being able to walk. I called them Friday morning, they didn’t have any appointments available but she told me to bring him and drop him off; they would work him in between appointments. They did just that!! They got him all cleaned up and got him some meds. He was home by 2:45 that same day and getting back to himself. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking such great care of our baby!
