I moved to the Hickory Flat area a year ago, and the first thing I did was locate a good veterinarian for my little dog. I went to Hickory Flat Animal Hospital and was immediately greeted by smiling faces and a clean fresh aroma. Their clinic is small but not overwhelmed with a waiting room full of anxious pets. After about a one minute wait, I was escorted to an exam room with my dog. The exam room was small but immaculately clean. We were seen within two minutes. The vet was extremely thorough and took the time to explain everything she found. Checkout was also very fast.
I've had dogs for years. This is the only vet I use and highly recommend them to anyone with a small animal who wants fast, convenient and competent animal care.

The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The vet took extra time with my dog and answered all of my questions. The techs were patient with my anxious dog. Last year I decided to find a new vet after taking my dog here. The former vet was rude, arrogant and uncaring. I’m glad I procrastinated and went back to meet the new staff. They certainly redeemed themselves.
