Honestly, we really liked Dr. Chacko! He was highly recommended when Hayden's face blew up and eyes went crazy out of no where and we rushed him to Northside Forsyth ER. He only did necessary testing, and then taught us what to do if it happens again, but encouraged us to WAIT. He didn't push medication. His allergy test came back without major concerns, so we will go back if and when we need to... we know what to do immediately.. but thankfully, he's been just fine. Hayden's on enough medications as is, we don't want any interactions... nor do we want to offset anything when it seems to be working well. Our main concern with Hayden is keeping him calm and safe. We're pleased with how thorough, yet cautious Dr. Chacko is and recommend him if you're looking for someone to give you ANSWERS regarding your child's allergies. *I'm posting this publicly so for reference: Hayden was 14 years old when seen. He is the size of a grown man on the outside, but intellectually a young child between 4-6. He is on the Autism Spectrum, within GCPS considered ASD Level 2. He is verbal, but it's called Echolalia. OCD, ODD & he is also a Wanderer - he doesn't run away, but he will sneak away so he can go find whatever he is obsessed with at the time (inflatable decorations, water hoses, first responders, walkie talkies, keys... long list Oct-Jan is the worse with decorations though). He could not identify exactly what he touched or even what happened before he started looking like Violet on Willy Wonka, so we were all figuring it out together. We were out to eat after waiting about an hour for our table. When we got back to the car, his face started turning red, eyes watering, he was screaming and crying that It hurt.
