I had already called several emergency vets, and the prices they quoted were completely out of reach. I honestly thought I was going to have no choice but to put my cat down.

“I’ve been to several vets in the area. This vet practice is awesome (I’ve waited a year to truly “vet” them). My definition of a good vet- they don’t “push” stuff on you. They work with you and honor your wishes. The main vet here… she works her butt off. I appreciate and respect her so much.
I’ll add that many vets are run by “big business” (like big companies that buy homes and rent them, for example), which means they must follow certain rules, and encourage (push) certain medications and shots (much like the current human medical for-profit business model).“
