I can’t attest to the quality of homes Higher Ground builds. The inconvenience they cause neighboring homeowners however, is disheartening. Non-compliance with local building codes is a cause for concern. Variance after variance, HG takes no control of or even remotely attempts to manage their subcontractors. Roads constantly blocked for the sake of nothing more than making life easier on themselves. Trash strewn about not only the job site, but littering the roadsides in utter disregard of the entire community. Phone calls to express concern will not be returned. I purchased a home 2 years ago that was about 20% from being completed. On the surface I was thrilled. I expected that certain things would still get completed… but MANY WERE NOT! The “final clean” was being done in the room where I signed to pay cash for a completed house. Soon after, cabinet doors started falling off in my hands, others collapsed. Deck was not bolted to the house as code requires, paint was peeling off doors….Jason was not responsive in the least. They built a home for us. There was some issues with subs, and quality from them was sub par. We have cabinets that were installed and still waiting after a year to get color on doors and doors replaced that are warped. I think the biggest problem is they have too many projects going at one time and using subs that don’t care. I have tried to get hold of Jason several times but now he doesn’t respond.Service: Home building
