Rio Body Wax Austell

Rio Body Wax is my goto spot for my waxing needs. I normally goto the one in Powder Springs, but this time I decided to visit the Austell location. Soon as I walked through the door, I was greeted by the receptionist. I didn’t get her name but she was very sweet and helpful.
I’m so glad I stopped by this location because Juliana did an amazing job. She took great care of me and did exactly what I asked for. She was super nice, I felt as if I had known her my entire life. 10 out of 10 experience ☺

I’ve been waxing for 13 years. I have tried different places and people. Rio is inviting because their office is always clean, smells good, has ambiance and the staff are always friendly. I would love to give them a 5 star but when the person that is waxing works very fast, the hair breaks instead of it being pulled out completely. Since the hair breaks, I start seeing regrowing hair as soon as 3 days. When the hair is pulled completely, like it should be, I see regrowing hair until the third or fourth week after waxing. I rather have my person work a bit slower to effectively pull out my hair instead of having a person who finishes a full body wax within 30 minutes.

I always have a great experience at Rio! Kennety is very professional, personable and skilled. They have flexible hours and great customer service!

Got a wax with julianna she was very friendly and communicative altho that was my first time with her specifically it wasnt as uncomfortable 😭💕

I’ve been going to the Austell location for over a year, and they’ve always been SO great. The staff is very nice, and my experience is always wonderful. Recently they had a website issue where the location links were getting mixed up. It’s totally not their fault, but I booked an appointment at what I thought was the Austell location, and it turned out to be the Camp Creek one. They were very understanding and, luckily, were able to accommodate me since they weren’t fully booked. I’d hate for anyone to leave a bad review over this little mix-up, it’s a glitch with the booking link, not the team. Both locations are wonderful, and the staff went out of their way to help me. Highly recommend!

“Website” link leads you to the booking site for a different location. Major inconvenience, young lady at the desk acknowledged that they’re aware that it’s an issue and it “happens all the time”. Was not willing to accommodate. She didn’t offer any resolution, just awkwardly looked back down at her computer lol smh. Would be laughable if I wasn’t on a tight timeline and had somewhere to be. Will not be returning. Fix the issue and do better.

I usually See Leslie but since she’s out on leave I scheduled with Jenny. She was amazing and eased my mind with my Brazilan wax. Definitely will continue to see her.

Sylvania is the BEST! Book with her! You won’t regret it.
