I have been going to V’s Barbershop in Martinez for the past two years and I always ask for Alexis specifically. She is fantastic.
She is quick and efficient without ever rushing the cut, and she remembers exactly how I like it every single time — no need to explain myself.
What really stands out is how easy she is to talk to. I am usually the quiet type during haircuts, but she has a great personality and always brings out good conversation. It makes the whole experience way more enjoyable.
If you’re in the Martinez/Augusta area and want a reliable, skilled barber who makes you feel welcome, look no further. Highly recommend!

I’ve been taking my son to Alexis for a few months now and he’s always very happy with the job she does. The price is reasonable and the service is fantastic. The barbershop is also very clean. I’m happy we found V’s barbershop and Alexis!

Tried to give them another shot after a bad experience a couple of years ago and I was disappointed again. I called to make an appointment for my son and make sure they didn’t mind kid haircuts. I got there 10 min early and no one was in yet which is fine, but when the hairdresser got there she took someone else. I made sure I was checked in and was told I was. Then a walk in came in and the other employee took them next. If the hairdresser I made the appointment with was behind, no problem, but communication is key. After waiting 15 min AFTER my appt with no communication I left because my toddler was antsy by that point.
