My Dad, Conrad Goodwin, has used Plunkett Heating and Air for years, so I trust them. They had to come out to Dads when he was on hospice, his was doing same thing. Free-on helped his unit. Kevin showed up promptly, my unit is about 26 years old, the pipe on unit outside & in attic has been freezing up, causing air to run nonstop but no cold air coming out. He said we could put free-on in it, $400-$500, but if you have a leak, to find it would cost $1000+, so he recommended a new unit, which would most likely be best. $7000-$9000 for a new unit!! So, I’m waiting on sales to call! What I liked about Kevin, is he didn’t sugar coat anything, he was straight up about it. Service fee was $90.
