RCS Roofing Company
“I’d give 10 stars if I could. Multiple friends sent RCS and Scott Gunter to me with high recommendations when I was overwhelmed by the amount and scope of damage to my 1932 Tudor Craftsman two months ago. A massive city-owned 210-year-old oak tree fell during a popup storm, leaving my roof with gaping holes, and soffit and fascia ripped off. (Re-traumatizing after Hurricane Helene damage just two years ago.) Scott was the perfect antidote to the chaos and stress. My project included total redecking as well as new roof installation, and replacing missing and damaged wood. The project was quickly scheduled, and the crew arrived on time. They were quiet, clean, and courteous. Scott oversaw the entire project to ensure quality craftsmanship. He kept his word every time, on time. My overall storm recovery included 10 contractors for various types of property damage, and a totaled car, but Scott was a standout with his professionalism, integrity, warmth, and expertise. I appreciate that he provided a professional painter to paint the new and repaired wood, all included in the original cost estimate. He also assisted in navigating my insurance claim. My roof, with its dramatic steep pitch and gables, is secure and beautiful. I’ve already received compliments from neighbors and passersby in my historic district. I recommend Scott and RCS with enthusiasm.”
