We have used Brittingham Plumbing for a decade, since we arrived in Augusta @ 10 years ago. This week we had a small leak in a rental apartment. They worked us into their schedule the day we called, came and resolved the leak for a reasonable service call fee. All of our contact was pkeasant and competent!.
We experienced a main water line leak where the line from the city meter meets the front of our house. Brittingham arrived the same day to cut out and replace the cracked pvc pipe. The repair lasted four days and Brittingham returned to investigate the problem. A second repair also failed, and Brittingham returned the same day to stop the leak. We also called the Augusta Utilities department to have a water pressure reading, and both city and Brittingham recorded pressure of 90-100 psi. We were told to install a PRV, pressure reduction valve. We were told that Ga plumbing code called for 80 psi and the higher pressure was the cause of the failed repair. He was very personable and found the problem quickly. They were prompt in sending someone when I called. The leak was not plumbing but he found the problem.
