I understand that braiding services are in high demand, especially during back-to-school season, which is why we came in ahead of time to speak with the staff and make an appointment for Sunday, August 3rd. Due to other obligations, we were told the stylist would come in early to accommodate us—and we deeply appreciated that effort because we were also trying to respect everyone’s time.
Unfortunately, what followed was one of the most unprofessional experiences I’ve ever had.
No one showed up early. The doors didn’t open until 10 a.m., and someone else was already in the chair. I called to let them know we had arrived and reminded them the hair had to be done by 5 p.m. sharp. We were reassured—again—that it would get done. That did not happen. At 5 p.m., the stylist stopped working because we had to leave, just as we stated clearly from the beginning.
We returned at 7:45–8:00 p.m. to finish the style, but work didn’t resume until 9 p.m. Then, around 11:30 p.m., it stopped again—despite the fact that we had already been inconvenienced twice in one day. A hairstyle that was supposed to take 7 hours ended up dragging on for nearly 11 hours. That is absolutely ridiculous.
Rather than honoring the commitment and making it right, it felt like the shop was more focused on squeezing in other clients and keeping everyone’s money than delivering quality service. After all that, no apology, no adjustment, no accountability.
This was a horrible experience. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this business to anyone who values professionalism or respect for your time.

Unprofessional and rude they do whatever they want in your hair they would talk about you in there language the whole time you get your hair did I ask for small knotless and got medium but still paid small knotless price. They tried to gaslight me by saying that I got extra small when it is definitely medium. She also stopped because she had an attitude and said that I was moving too much and got another braider to finish my hair and I had sat there two hours before she came. It took 12 hours for my hair to get done. Then she was all in my phone saying I keep taking pictures cause I wanted to see my hair, they so unprofessional would not recommend if I could give them a negative star I would.

I called head of time to confirm availability and the staff was on time. I booked a take down but ended up getting my knotless re-braided. Easy to work with. Calm. Good experience. I’ll be back.

I made a 10am appointment for a take down, wash and reinstall .. No one showed up until 10:40am… I paid $65 for my braids to be taken down. (Basically paid to have my hair damaged) dirty mildew smelling towels. ( I had to go to the family dollar next door to buy Detangler, a towel and a detangling brush.)
After the stylist taking two meal breaks and stopping to talk dramatically to her co workers I didn’t leave the shop until 1:30am the next morning 😳the whole process was over $500 due to the random up charges.
Not to mention roaches…. Who wants to fear a roach coming home with you after you leave from getting your hair done.

I had a really bad experience here and I hate to leave this review because I support black owned business but it’s day 2 of my extra short boho braids (I asked for butt length) and the human hair that they installed is slipping out. During my 7 hour service the ladies kept stopping my head to go to someone else’s head which probably explains why my hair is itching already. It’s just an unsanitary, loud environment and I understand that Africans have certain mannerisms that can’t be controlled but if you’re going to be in the customer service industry it’s not just about braiding hair in exchange for money. You truly get what you pay for ..cheap prices for cheap service. You want your clients to come back and I won’t be back. Vacation hair ruined

Do not come here they will Play in your head and then charge extra when you’re ready TO PAY. They were so aggressive in my hair , I asked several times for them to not comb my hair because they rip the comb right through and the back of my head has 1-2 boho pieces despite me asking for it to be full. When my service was done the owner goes “oh no it’s not $210 it’s $254 because we made it full”.

I went to get my hair braided May 30,2024 I asked for knotless braids long and small I was very detailed on how I wanted my braids half way through my hair I had to use the lady’s rooms…After I was in the mirror looking at the back of my braids and the parts was medium size and the braids was not long now mind you I have been here 4 hours already…I went and ask the lady who braiding the back off my hair why was the parts so big and the braid length so short?She begin to speak French and then caught Attitude but mind you I have been here 4 hours already the lady wanted to cut my braids out and not finish my hair smh ??♀️ long story short this was the worst experience I have ever encountered I could make it to my event because my hair was ugly and it took them so long to finish… They was very loud ghetto and unprofessional they had all kind of people coming in and out the shop trying to sale you stolen items…Man outside the shop with guns this shop is so unprofessional and not safe… IF YOU WANT YOU HAIR UGLY THEY ARE THE SHOP FOR PLEASE AVOID THIS SHOP…
