As one myself, I just have to say - college Asian males, James is definitely your guy (he’s a barber formerly from the Bay Area - enough said!). I had a terrible haircut from another salon, and came here looking to salvage it - and James did absolute miracle work. He kindly listened and considered my wants but was not afraid to share his own expertise and experienced opinions to make sure I wasn’t misguided by my own ignorance. His confidence was very reassuring.
I was visiting Atlanta for the first time and went to different barbershop and this lady totally butchered my haircut. She didn’t know how to do a fade. I then called Anguished Barber and they took me as a walk in right away to fix the haircut. Tuan cut my hair and he totally fixed everything. I really appreciate his precision and skill. The shop itself has really nice vibes. Very aesthetically pleasing.
This was a really cool experience. I didn't have time to cut my hair before our trip to Atlanta and I wasn't mad because this place was fantastic. Not only did I get a great cut, I had an amazing handcrafted beverage brought to me. I felt like a boss, and it was awesome. The bartender was cute too, so, bonus. :)
