I have had back pain for years. I am a paramedic and never been easy on my back for sure. I have tried many different procedures that would temporarily help or help not at all, and the pain always seemed to return. I finally got to the point I was ready to try a surgical option, and I met with Dr. Seecharan at Polaris. The initial consult was easy and painless. After hurting for over 2 months, Dr. Ayer has recommended surgery. He did so only after multiple MRIs, nerve tests and physical exams. I know I am in good hands and look forward to trusting him and being pain free!
I am now 5 months post surgery. No more pain. Continuing with physical therapy twice a week and the bone growth stimulator every night. Dr. Ayer said it all looks good. Next check won’t be until September! I am Doing really good. ?
Best surgeon I know and I know a lot of them. I’ve known and worked with Dr. Steuer for 21 years in the ICU at Northside Hospital. He’s is the only one I wanted to do my surgery.
