Along with their network of highly qualified Doctors of Optometry, they provide the most efficient, convenient, and cost-effective eye care available. Patients have been impressed with the helpful staff, such as the two busy secretaries and the employee named Star who provided useful information. The front desk staff, like Alyssa, have been amazing in assisting with appointments and insurance. The surgery center staff, including the sweet Susan, have also received praise. Patients have trusted the fantastic Dr. Patel for their eye surgeries. However, some patients have had issues with the surgery center billing technicians, who were described as curt, impatient, and dismissive. Unresolved billing problems have been a source of frustration for some patients.
First of all, not sure why some gave this company a rating of 3. Stars! From what I gathered they spent more time on evaluating your situation and took their time going through various steps to ensure I got the proper measurements. From what I saw and experience this operation, hands-down was five stars, and above Dr. Woodard is a genius. All the people that work with him thought highly of him. I put my eyes in his hands and I felt confident he was going to do the best job he could and he did . I can now see 20/20 in both eyes and the surgeries could have not gone better. I am not one that runs to medical facilities, but try's to stay away from them. However, I honestly recommend this medical center and Dr. Woodard to anyone having issues with their vision to come here! Atlanta and surrounding area, we have one of the best eye surgeon available today in our city! Don't put off or holdout any longer! No regrets!
About a month ago, I escorted my mother to a location in ATL for a follow-up visit. I was impressed with two busy secretaries while my Mom filled out the usual forms. One employee named Star came to my aid after a trip to the cafeteria with an array of tips and information as to my mother's circumstance. She had a very pretty associate who got up and left, but it was definitely Star time. All in all, this trip proved to be a very sure step in my Mom's recovery.
Alyssa at the front desk was amazing during all of my initial appointments and assisting with insurance for my procedures. Susan in the surgery center is the absolute sweetest and put in my IV for both surgeries, I could have talked with her all day! Dr. Patel is fantastic and I trusted her completely with my eye surgeries.
