She tried to make a time change the morning of my appointment, but had to cancel. I read the reviews about other client’s experiencing cancellations but I thought I would be different as a first time client considering I received all of the confirmation emails and reminders. Do not book if you have to stick to the time that you originally scheduled. It could change.

Ms Cat is nice and personable. But I cannot go back nor recommend. Used Cantu shampoo which was disappointing. In addition, the haircut she gave me is very uneven and rigged. I ended up having to rewash and redo my hair the next day (including doing some spot cutting). It was an unfortunate, very expensive experience.

What a great experience. I had a very interesting talk with my stylist, Saharah. She is very down-to-earth and even gave me tips on how to start locs from my twists if I decide to. There was a small hiccup at first because I was not made aware that you can't pay with your card, but she helped me find an ATM that was open nearby and all was well. You can pay with cash or Apple Pay - things like that. I would highly recommend her, she even is a licensed cosmetologist! My hair took about 90 minutes and it was done perfectly, she even used the cream I brought, she didn't use heat on my hair, she was gentle and didn't pull my hair -- wow wow wow. Don't second guess, make your appointment with Saharah, she will take great care of you.

I loved my first visit here this past summer - it is located in the back of the Soul Village shop in LVP which is so cool... but I've tried to schedule an appointment for starter locs twice in the timespan of a couple of months which have both been canceled prior to with no explanation. I booked the appointment a week before on my first try, and 2 weeks in advance with this last try, for good measure.... I want to support, but instances like this make me want to take my business elsewhere!Services: Updos

I had a pleasant experience getting my hair serviced here. I hadn't been to a salon in years. She gave me tips on how to manage my hair between visits and complimented me bc it wasn't as bad as I thought it was. Very informative and pleasant experience. Will definitely return

This was the most relaxing wash and loc retwist I've ever experienced. The shop's vibe is calm and peaceful, the music was relaxing, and the signature products are amazing. Cat is a patient and gentle stylist. I will definitely be going back in a few weeks for my next retwist.Service: Dreadlocks
