This was my first and it was great. I have natural curly hair and I went for a wash and set. I left with so much body to my hair. Hair clean straight and silky. You would have thought I got a perm. GREAT JOB DEFINITELY RECOMMEND

The service was great. They were all polite and respectfully. The location was clean and easy to find. Im from New York and needed a wash & set in found this location on Google maps and im happy i found it.

My experience as a walk-in waited an hour to start. The location was small only one wash bowl. The hot water went out so washed my hair in cold water the whole time. Now I’m sick 🤧 . friendly but didn’t understand English I didn’t get what I really wanted. I wouldn’t recommend.

As a Black client, I just want to say this Dominican salon truly delivered. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed, respected, and taken care of. The stylists were knowledgeable about my hair, gentle, and took their time to make sure everything was done right. My hair was properly detangled, washed, deep conditioned, and styled with real skill and care.
What I appreciated most was that they listened to what I wanted and didn’t rush the process. My hair came out healthy, silky, and full of movement — no heat damage, no rough handling, just great technique. The salon was clean, professional, and efficient, and the overall vibe was warm and friendly.
If you’re a Black person looking for a Dominican salon that knows how to work with our hair and actually prioritizes hair health, this is the place. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend them.

this salon is totally a rip off!! I called for a deep wash and split ends cut they told me over the phone it would be 45-60$ when I got there they then proceeded to say it’s 130???? For a silk press and 110 for a blow out with that which made no sense because how does a wash not already come with your service plus what did you think I meant by split ends cut over the phone how did you plan to cut my ends while my hair was wet if that service did not come with a blow out!!! (I edited since I’m not able to reply back the person who replied claims my hair was tangled I HAVE 4C hair IT WAS NOT tangled IF YOU CHARGE EXTRA FOR DIFFERENT HAIR TYPES THAT COULDVE BEEN SAID i specifically asked for the same exact thing I asked for over the phone the price changed I spoke to a man over the phone and a woman in person! If he did not know what I was talking about he should have not gave me ANY PRICE then this person also lied when I went they told me the blow dry was not included and would be extra in these reviews I see a lot of people have short hair yes I have long hair 4C hair what it is was yall was being lazy and tried to charge me extra for that!! 130$ when I went and got it done for 80$ and they did perfectly fine!!

I absolutely enjoyed my experience. Family vibes that made me wished I spoke Spanish. I called early and they got me right in. Meka did my hair… I love it and got the best trim that was so badly needed. I’m glad they are in my neighborhood and gave them a try. I was referred to other places but this was the closest to me for convenience and I will definitely be back!!!
