We should have looked at reviews before hiring Mike to do a small commercial job. Our experience was similar to Runner B. Poor/non-existent communication, wrong plants were installed, and we were overcharged. And then accused of trying to cheat him. We would not recommend this business to anyone.

*TOTAL* nightmare. Would give 0 stars if possible. We hired Mike for a hardscape project in our backyard last year. The experience was a punishment in erratic and unreliable behavior AND we ended up getting massively overcharged. Mike was unreliable, unaccountable, and deeply unpleasant to work with on this project. After providing us with what we thought was a reasonable, good faith estimate, we paid Mike a deposit and then the gaslighting and flaky behavior began. Mike and his crew disappeared for weeks with no explanation while we were left staring at a mudpie in our backyard during the finest parts of spring. Our backyard was a hot mess when we bought our house. And it just grew and got worse. My hubby and I were in our front yard with our kids one day and we watched this truck pull up to my neighbor's house, grab a shovel, pull up old flowers, plant new flowers, and complete the job all so swiftly! And then drive away! We were so impressed that we asked our neighbors for his name and info! We called Mike Ferreira initially to fix our driveway rock wall. I detested the wobbly wall because getting my toddler and holding my baby and walking over the rock wall was dangerous. Plus it would often scrape my car door.
