I recently attended the Homegoing of a dear loved one. The family chose Herschel Thornton Mortuary for services. The funeral home is located on Martin Luther King Drive less than a mile from the MLK exit on I-285. There is an ample parking lot to accommodate guests.
As you enter the lobby, there are two restrooms that are easily accessible. There are also comfortable sofas and chairs for seating just outside one of the main on-site chapels. The chapel itself is modern, spacious, and offers plenty of seating for guests.
