I noticed yesterday my AC unit at The Plaza in Midtown, Atlanta was not cooling. I called GB Services and spoke to Marcus. In less than an hour, there was a technician at my home. I was pretty much resigned to the fact I would need to get a whole new air-conditioning unit given that it's 26 years old. The technician had to go to the roof of the building to deal with the issue. He could've easily told me I needed a new AC unit and I was prepared to do that, instead he was able to replace a part for about $300 and had me back in the freezer again! I couldn’t be happier. I scheduled service for them to install a thermostat I supplied. Mine wouldn’t cover the existing hole. The tech didn’t have another but they called another guy who did. Within an hour, that guy arrived & installed it. They went above & beyond what was expected of them. The charges were completely reasonable especially considering the task was more complicated & time consuming than expected.
