I was billed $400 for an annual checkup. I’ll preface this by saying I have great insurance through a large employer. I called the insurance company, who explained that my visit was billed to them as medical vs. routine, so my visit wasn’t 100% covered as it normally would be. I called the doctor’s office, and they explained that because I had talked about having acid reflux with the doctor, it was no longer deemed as a “routine” appointment. Note, I did not get blood work done or anything. My appointment lasted a total of maybe 15 minutes of actual face time with a nurse or doctor. I asked them what I’m supposed to talk about with my doctor when I come in if I don’t want to be billed an exorbitant amount, and they said it’s best not to talk about anything; just get your height and weight checked. Never in my life have I been charged for my annual checkup just for talking about issues that are going on with me. I told them that would be a waste of time because I have a scale at home. Unfortunately it was also a massive waste of money. Pure greed.

Absolutely the worst primary care office in GA specifically talking about the Lavista location. We’ve never had a good experience with (Tran Trivedi NP) I do not recommend at all. The office staff is really unprofessional and rude. They constantly hang up mid-conversation and do not call back. They keep you on hold for longer than 30+ mins & never answer your questions. If I could give a 0 star I would.

Emory has to be the most greedy and dishonest organization. Pity they are so aggressively expanding in Atlanta. I'm sick with flu and I called Emory Primary Care and they want "a $200. deposit" to be able to see a doctor. When I was a government school teacher in Georgia I made $600. A WEEK for working 80 hours and I've already paid $50,000. into health insurance and now I am not covered. EMORY Health Care is greedy greedy greedy. They are not the answer to public health care. They are a private country club and like so many in Georgia, are busy congratulating themselves for how wonderful they are. Well sure on the top end they do wonders, but for basic health needs they're a zero for me. I'm still sick, have no energy, and will not be seeing the doctor because Atlanta is rigged for country-club only health "care." What a joke. You ought to be ashamed in the Emory billionaire- bubble. You're fakes and you're total liars. The bonus is that Emory had banners on the road that said, "We're All in This Together." Maybe their marketing dept is smoking crack because that is some lying dishonest crack-head marketing from morally vacant greedy people who need to lie to hype themselves reflexively like a mangy dog scratching fleas. This is the light review without the expletives of what I think of these dishonest people.
