if you’re referred to here don’t even bother. I’ve been trying to make an appointment and don’t have anything until may of NEXT YEAR. Doesn’t matter if it’s urgent I still have to be on a waiting list and another thing is that they’ve had the referral for over a month now.
Terrible automated phone system! Makes me angry just using it and having to call back over again to start over. I feel bad for the humans on the other side who must deal with the patients that have to use this system!
I went to the Emory Eye Center back in August for a routine yearly check up. They had to put multiple eye drops in my eyes while I was there in order to do all their tests. The next day I woke up my eyes were both red and goopy with conjunctivitis. I treated it with some antibacterial eye drops that a CVS NP prescribed to me and it was seemingly getting better, but then I ran out of the eye drops and it came back again. I was then prescribed erythromycin ointment for my eyes, and was on it for three weeks, but the infection still hasn't fully gone away.
