After (4) visits with EAFD over 18 months, I’ve always received courteous, caring and competent attention from everyone, both office and medical staff. Never did I believe my prior dentist of 40+ years could be surpassed, but I was wrong. The dental care provided by this clinic instills an expectation of anxiety free experience, to the extent that is possible. I rate EAFD as Superlative.
Four days prior to my bi-annual teeth cleaning, I suffered a chipped front tooth. Although certainly not a medical emergency, it clearly was an appearance crisis for me. EAFD staff incredibly secured not only an early appointment but also changed the prior appointment for the same time. No doubt this is not always possible but it does reflect their extraordinary effort to accommodate a patient need. It’s a unique experience whenever office staff cares as much as the health care provider and Dr. M sets a high bar to achieve.

Oh my what a gem EAFD is. Very professional, precise and welcoming. From the minute you walk in the door you are in the best hands possible. I was a patient here for several years with generally positive experiences, but my recent root canal situation left me paying the price for the office’s lack of communication.
An appointment was scheduled, then changed with nothing more than an email notification no call, no voicemail. I did receive the email, but a scheduling change of this significance warranted a direct conversation, especially given that my insurance had a time-sensitive window. That one change, communicated so casually, directly caused me to take on significantly higher out-of-pocket costs that I am now responsible for.
Management eventually offered a goodwill accommodation, but it took months of follow-up, multiple emails, and sitting on hold for 20+ minutes just to get answers. The resolution came but so did the bill.
This was 110% avoidable. A phone call would have changed everything.
Instead, I’m the one absorbing the financial consequences of a communication breakdown that wasn’t mine to make.

I was very pleased with the beginning and the end of my process of receiving a new partial plate haven't had one in over 15 years so of course I was skeptical praying that I wouldn't be disappointed hoping that I could get my smile back the end result I wasn't disappointed and I did get my smile back the staff was excellent . I made sure I let them know that I was a drama queen when it came down to Needles and different stuff but they was very patient with me thank you so much much appreciated

My family (2 adults. 2 kids) have been patients here for the last five years. It is an excellent practice. The whole team is professional, friendly, and helpful. They're great with my kids. I really can't recommend them highly enough.

Coming to East Atlanta Family Dental 3 years ago was the best decision I’ve made concerning my dental health. They are so professional yet family oriented. When I walk in the front door, I’m greeted by an amazing front desk. They know it’s me checking in. I’m NEVER kept waiting long in the waiting area. The hygienists are thorough, gentle, and personable. Dr. Ahmadi is so kind, precise, gentle, and thorough. He explains everything. Upon checkout, I’m given a clear explanation of the services rendered, fees, and treatment plan for my next visit. The “family” in their name is on point. 🦷🪥❤️
