I am totally impressed with the quality of the staff here, and blown away by Dr. Johnathan Holzwarth in particular. I have an elderly dog of a giant breed, who is in decline. They have provided him with excellent professional care, and me with total kindness and compassion. We could not ask for more.

My love for Buckhaven Vet began when Foxy, my Italian Greyhound had an abscessed anal gland (TMI). We had been going to WellPet humane, and they refused service as they were too busy for a long time patient. I requested our records, and as I was driving by Buckhaven, I gave them call. Samantha answered the phone and said that while they were full for the day, they would do their best and to come on in. She put us in a room and gave me a warm blanket for Foxy. Great vet clinic. The front desk staff are very friendly and professional, and the doctors are great. They always take the time to explain my cat’s health and have a meaningful discussion with me about his treatment. I’ve never had a problem getting an appointment quickly, and they have good hours. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone in the area.
