This facility really exceeded my expectations! The day before my appointment, I was worried I wouldn’t be able to find another clinic in time. The first place I called said that they had availability that whole week and I could call any time to make an appointment. When I called that Friday, they said they were full! I became indignant because I was just told I could make an appointment at any time. So fast forward, I googled more clinics and came across ACWC, and this was the perfect place to choose. Highly recommend. I’ve been to a clinic before to support a friend, and the experience was overwhelming there were protestors outside with posters and flyers making you feel ashamed for your decision. Thankfully, this clinic is nothing like that. It’s tucked away in a private area behind office suites, which already makes it feel safer and more discreet.
The front desk gentleman wasn’t overly friendly but was respectful, which I appreciated. The doctor, on the other hand, was amazing very warm, attentive, and focused on my comfort and symptoms instead of rushing through the appointment. Never thought I'd be writing a review for this place or reason, but here I am. I wanted to write this review for anyone who may be as nervous as I was going in. By the time time I left I had no worries.
The staff were all very friendly, compassionate, & helpful. No judgements from anyone & they were very knowledgeable. I went in at 8:30 scheduled to get the pill option, but during ultrasound I expressed my concerns about that method & they were able to switch me to the surgical option same day with no issues.
