I got back from a week long vacation and was so worried my cat had a blockage. I don’t have a primary vet here in Athens, so I took a gamble and am so glad I did. The team at South Athens was phenomenal and saw me on very short notice, despite the lack of information I could provide on the situation. They did a full exam, made me completely at ease, and helped me get her up to date with vaccines. My only mistake was not bringing her here sooner!

I have taken my dogs to South Athens Animal Clinic since I moved here in 2011. I couldn't imagine a better clinic, from the veterinarians to the vet techs and the receptionists. Everyone is just so wonderful and caring. As others have noted, they cared about my dogs as much as I did. Beyond being an exceptional veterinarian, Dr. Singh was such a kind person to me and my senior beagle. When Sadie's little body finally gave out after a long battle with bladder cancer just about a month ago, Dr. Singh took the time on a Sunday evening to help us give Sadie the rest she deserved. Sadie lived for two years after being diagnosed with bladder cancer because Dr. Singh and Sadie's previous vet, Dr. Thornton went above and beyond with her care. One of the vet techs, Katie, was Sadie's bff and I just loved seeing how much Katie loved my beagle girl. I couldn't ask for better care than this clinic has provided.

It took me a long time to find a vet in Athens that gave me the homey feel of my vet back home but south Athens animal clinic has exceeded my expectations every time. They take such good care of their patients and owners and have the best staff. I’ve had to call multiple times for my cats to get an appointment urgently and they always find a way to fit me in as soon as they can. They are also reasonably priced which is such a hard find in Athens ! Best vet clinic in Athens by far!

Dr. Singh has been caring for my three cats since July of 2017. In addition to being a first class vet she is also a kind, caring, and compassionate person. She always takes the time to interact with my cats while giving them whatever medical care is needed, and I feel as though she knows them as well as I do. The time Dr. Singh spends with us never feels rushed or hurried and I really appreciate that. My oldest cat (16 yrs old) was diagnosed with intestinal lymphoma two and a half years ago and he has remained active and happy under Dr. Singh’s care. One of the things I have most appreciated about her care of Georgie is that she not only considers the medications he needs, but also his personality and how he is handling the frequent check ups. Dr. Singh is truly one of the best and I am grateful she is our vet. I also have to give a big shout out to all the staff at South Athens. The receptionists are very helpful and are so nice to all the patients and their owners. And you won’t find better LVTs and Veterinary Assistants anywhere. They truly care about every pet that walks through the door. You won’t go wrong if you choose SAAC for your veterinary care!

They were absolutely wonderful, I totally felt supported here. They have went above and beyond with taking care of my cat’s tooth and tried to help me with finding ways to help alleviate costs. They are highly affordable! 10/10

I moved here from Florida where I had a well established relationship with a vet clinic and I was very worried about trying a new veterinarian. The kindness, professionalism, and respect shown by this veterinary staff for my pets has been nothing short of extraordinary. Yesterday I had to lay to rest my beloved Belle and the staff could not have been more compassionate. This was a decision that created a lot of turmoil for me and the way they handled everything from making the appointment to our leaving the building was truly extraordinary. I'm beyond grateful for their kindness on a very difficult morning. Thank you.
