Jim’s Garage, on Lexington Road is the best auto shop I’ve been to in Athens, Georgia! I give them the highest recommendation:After my car was overheating during this last summer, I experienced the “trials of Job” trying to get it repaired. I took it to two different mechanics/auto shops. They both took forever to fix it and did a terrible job. Both shops said it was completely fixed but it certainly wasn’t and it even got worse. Would grant more stars if I could! Extremely honorable people with great service to both customer and vehicle!! The gentlemen here were quick to respond, efficient, and affordable. They took my car day of, and had it completed by the end of it—with great communication throughout. My new local mechanic! Thanks Jim + staff

Friendly staff that helped me get my car working in time to travel for thanksgiving! They were able to quickly get a new fuel tank for my car which is no longer made and gave me an accurate quote (had called a few other shops that were not willing to give an estimate). Everyone was very nice!
