Very nice individuals. This was my first time getting my hair cut in over two years. I usually just did it myself, but I really wanted something nice. My friend recommended me the place. Loved them. They're so welcoming. I don't talk much but they had me talking once I got in the chair. I had Tony cut my hair and he's phenomenal. Will say bring cash because it is easier for them and while the wait time is longer than other places in the Athens area, the cut I got was freaking awesome.

The BEST barber shop in Athens hands down. It’s been 4 years since I left Athens but I still reminisce about the times I spent in here just chatting it up and enjoying the wait because every time you come to Brown’s you feel like you’re hanging out with family.
Tony if you see this, I hope y’all are doing well. Miss you guys a lot and I hope to pass by someday in the future my friend.

One of the last of the old-style barbershops standing. Family owned and operated, this is the ONLY place I'll go to in Athens to get a haircut. Would recommend it to anyone. Friendly and attentive staff. You might have a wait, but that just means you're in the right place.
