Started coming here when in town for a few months. Had no prior martial arts experience and was nervous to start jiu jitsu as a young smaller woman. I had nothing to fear. People here have taken me under their wing and there really is a family atmosphere. People are genuinely happy to see each other, including me. Highly recommend!
This place was once called Family Martial Arts years ago... When you come in the door, you become family. Joining this gym is one of the best things I've done in my life. It's not because of the gym, it's because of the people. Excellent kickboxing instruction and top notch bjj under one roof. If I told how I feel about Mr. Ken and AMAA, it would be a novella, and not a review. You can't go wrong here.
