I visited Woodhouse Spa for my birthday and was genuinely excited to leave a 5-star review. The atmosphere was beautiful, and my couples massage with Amanda and Marie was absolutely amazing. They were both professional, attentive, and provided an incredible experience.
Unfortunately, my overall experience was ruined afterward. I wore the spa slides that were provided during my visit, and within 2 days I noticed what looked like a small pimple-like bump on the bottom of my foot while putting on lotion after my shower. It quickly turned into painful blisters and I ended up with athlete’s foot.
The only thing that came into contact with my bare feet that was out of the ordinary was the spa’s slides. This has me seriously questioning whether they are being properly sanitized between guests. If they aren’t, that’s a major health concern and completely unacceptable for a luxury spa.
It’s disappointing because Amanda and Marie truly deserved recognition for the wonderful massage they gave us. They were fantastic. However, cleanliness and sanitation are just as important as great service, and because of this experience, I can’t recommend the spa until their sanitation practices are addressed.

Luxury spa experience in the heart of the Avalon! The ambiance is amazing. The facility is beautiful and clean. Every person was polite and welcoming. The deep tissue massage was perfect. I can't wait to go back!

My go to for relaxation. The entire spa is lovely. They truly go the extra mile with bringing you a beverage of choice to the quiet room while you wait for your appointment. Best facial & deep tissue massage I’ve ever received - by Misa and Jacobi respectively.

My wife and I went for facials for our anniversary. It was so relaxing. The space is beautiful. Everyone is kind and very professional. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommended.

I am almost afraid to leave this review because Jacobi is already starting to get booked up. But I’ve been coming here for the past five years and have always had Jacobi. She is absolutely great. She is highly recommended and I’m assuming that everyone here is great! But great time overall and the entire staff takes really good care of you.
