I have been seeing Dr. Murad for over 12 years, following her to her own practice even after I moved 50 minutes away. She is easy to talk to, listens to concerns and answers all questions giving confidence in what can be ignored and what should be addressed, as well as options for treatment, if appropriate. Dr. Murad and her staff are terrific! They are very warm and understanding. I am very comfortable with Dr. Murad and the people who work in her practice. My granddaughter also uses her and loves her! She is an excellent dermatologist and I highly recommend her!

I had never been to a dermatologist before, and I visited because I was experiencing very minor acne (basically just clogged pores between my eyebrows). The visit was extremely rushed, and the doctor quickly sold me on using tretinoin cream (the lowest concentration) without explaining how long it would take to see results, potential side effects, or really how it even works. At the time I didn’t really think anything of it because she said it was such a common acne prescription, and she was very nonchalant. However, after using the cream multiple times I noticed that my freckles (which I’ve had my whole life) were fading. I thought I was going crazy, but with some research I found out that tretinoin fades freckles. I really wish the doctor would have told me this potential side effect because I would not have used the cream to begin with because my acne was extremely minor. I know it sounds silly, but I loved my freckles that I’ve had my whole life. I am honestly upset about this and wish it would have been disclosed. I never write reviews, but I felt compelled to because of this situation.
