an absolute monster one of the best and toughest courses I've ever played, a lot of brutally tough tee shots, some very hard approach shots, greens were very good and seem pretty fast (went on rainy day so obviously they played slower than usual). a lot of variety, doglegs, drastic elevation changes, hazards all over the place, very well placed bunkers, good ondulation on greens. 6 stars best public course by far in Atlanta area. 6 stars!

Echelon Golf Club was awesome. The course itself is great, but honestly the scenery might be what I remember most. Every hole feels tucked into its own little stretch of landscape, and the whole place just looks expensive in the best possible way. Super peaceful, ridiculously well maintained, and the greens were beautiful.
The elevation changes and winding cart paths made it feel completely different from the usual flat, repetitive courses you play all the time. At one point I realized I was enjoying the cart ride almost as much as the actual golf. Which sounds ridiculous until you play there. This was a very nice well-maintained golf course. I believe it is private but they do allow some people to come in from the outside at some times. Not sure about the rules for that. The day we played there was no one in front of us and no one behind us was very nice.
