i was a loooong time customer of SOWEGA but not anymore. very poor service and Alfred Hosely the owner is the reason why. they charged me twice for filing last year and did not give it back. i recommended many of my friends and family to them and they were ripped off too. do not trust them with your taxes and if you have filed with them before and are chosing to go some place else please go pick up your old paperwork and get all your information away from there. they will make u pay for it but its worth it to know they dont have it.

Please stay away from Sowega Tax! They are very unprofessional , and do not have enough tax training to handle the volume of clients they receive each year. with that being said when ever they do make a mistake they do not take the responsibility to try and resolve the problem.
If you do however decide to let them prepare your taxes please make sure that you get a copy of your transcript from then that day! they will deceive you and say that it will be emailed to you but it will never come.
Sowega Tax is doing a disservice to the African American community in which they serve!
