I took my dog to this hospital this morning because after I got a refill for his Apoquel, it wasn't helping him with his allergies anymore. I got an appointment with Dr. Walker because Dr. Palomino didn't have an opening for today. The technician came to the exam room and took notes of what I told her was happening. She told me she was going to take my dog in the back to check his anal glands, and Dr. Walker would come in and exam when they came back in the room. He was in the back for more than 10 minutes and while I waited in the exam room, I heard a dog crying like it was in pain. Now, I believe it was my dog. The technician and Dr. Walker came in the room with my dog. They had shaved the area where he had a hot spot. Dr. Walker never examined my dog in the exam room. She just told me what she thought what the problem was and what she was prescribing. A doctor should examine the pet in the exam room with the owner and ask questions.

While I was driving home, my dog was crying and whimpering the whole time in the back of the car. After we got in the house, he started running around desperately and crying like he was in a lot of pain.

I called the hospital because it was painful to see him suffering like that. They put me on hold to go and talk with the vet. They came back and told me to start the medication, and that was it. They didn't care my dog was crying in pain at that moment.

He was also panting and it became worse as the hours passed. He was panting heavily, and still is. I called them again, and they put me on hold and forgot about me. I hung up and called again. They talked to the vet and told me that was normal because of the medication they prescribed. I explained that the panting had started before I gave him the medication. They simply told me if he was still panting tomorrow, I could come and get medication to calm him down. Calm him down?

My dog was feeling uncomfortable before I took him there. After he left the hospital, he was in pain. Whatever they did to him in the back ...

So cold,. So unethical. So inhumane. I regret recommending them to a few people since the first time I went there a few months ago. I'll make sure to contact those people and tell them what happened.

I'm giving one star because I'm not able to post my review if I don't give at least one star.

I’ve only had good experiences here with my kitty. The vet techs and veterinarians are very friendly and so sweet with my pet. After performing dental surgery on my six-year-old cat, they were very communicative and spent time explaining the process from start to finish. They even gave me a binder with all of her checkout instructions.

Her resorption surgery involving teeth extractions was estimated previously at $1300 and the bill came to exactly what I expected.

I want to take a moment to recognize Seminole Trail Animal Hospital and their amazing team. This was my first visit with my Cane Corso puppy, Zorra, and Dr. Williams was attentive, thorough, and never rushed the exam. He truly reminds me of an old-school veterinarian — the kind who doesn’t push unnecessary vaccines , supplements, or products, but instead shares real knowledge gained from years of experience. I felt comfortable and confident from the very first visit. What truly prompted this review happened about a week later. My puppy had an ear crop done at another hospital three hours away (there are very few places in Florida that perform it). While the procedure went well, the aftercare was challenging, and I reached out to Seminole Trail Animal Hospital just to ask for help. Although they were fully booked and it was New Year’s Eve, Alex, who answered the phone, went above and beyond and offered to come to my home after work to help me remove the cone, clean the ears and apply the ointment. She followed through, and it was one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had... I truly hope the hospital knows how lucky they are to have someone like Alex on their team. I highly recommend Seminole Trail Animal Hospital for their compassion, professionalism, and exceptional care.

Seminole Trail Animal Hospital is a wonderful vet clinic, and we're lucky to have a place like this so close. We've lived all over the country, so we've had to go to many different vets over the years. The staff and vets here are by far the best that we've been to. This animal hospital is clean and very well run. We've seen all of the vets here, and I would highly recommend all of them. They're very good with all of our animals; they're patient, very well educated on the latest research, and they don't push things that are unnecessary. If you're looking for a new vet, this is the place to go!

I've had wonderful experiences at this clinic with Dr Walker and everyone who works here. I say this as both the child and sibling of dedicated veterinarians, and with years of experience as a practice manager. When my four-year-old, blind, special needs cat had a painful dental crisis, Dr Walker was quick to get her in for extractions, while managing her pain prior to surgery. She explained the risks of surgery, and proceeded with skill, care, and compassion for her. Everything went great and my cat is feeling fantastic again. I brought in my dog and another cat a few weeks later, and they are also doing better after a few adjustments to their care. After such great experiences, I trust them with all my animals!

Fifteen years of great service for four different fogs. The veterinarians Al way take time to make sure that we understand and diagnose and the protocol to follow. The techs and front desk staff are friendly and efficient. I see 15 more years of service.
