I hadn’t been back to this location for quite sometime. At first I was taken a back that there was nobody there and you needed to use the virtual drop off. Being it was a first for me I failed at it because you need to drop the garments in a yellow bag and register the bag. When I figured it out my clothes were all ready inside. The site offers to call someone if you have any questions. I called and the attendant helped me create another registration to register one of the yellow bags. They then called the cleansrs and advised them what had happened to put them together. It was a new process but worked efficiently. Very innovative.
I recently went to Orlando Cleaners after not having been in awhile and was surprised to see that everything was automated. I was skeptical about dropping my dry cleaning off in some machine without talking to a person, but I figured I would try it and hopefully see my sweater again. When I returned to the dry cleaner after I was notified it was ready, I used the machine to pick it up and was amazed that it actually worked and my sweater was returned and cleaned! I have used it a few more times since then and have been pleased.
I was concerned about the automated process now in place. One for accuracy and two for my ability (not a millennial) to navigate the process. I have to say it is super easy and convenient. I do miss the drive-thru but not a deal breaker as convenience of location trumps the drive-thru in my case. If you do have a question the super nice ladies who do the tailoring are there between 10-5 I believe are the hours.
