It took me a while to write a review since losing a mother drains you to the core. Our family would not have made it through without McWhite's. I called McWhite’s on a Friday afternoon to inquire about making preparations for Mom due to her declining health. Something no one wants to talk about or actually put in place. I can tell you that it is essential to plan ahead of time because planning after a loved one passes away can be overwhelming. I called, and Reggie answered. God knew I needed him on the other end of the phone. He embraced my pain and put me at ease throughout a difficult conversation. My family could not stress enough how helpful this funeral home has been to us. They made such a hard time seamless. Albert kept us laughing throughout the time of planning that we almost forgot we were planning a funeral. And Reggie was there polishing loose ends. Every time we thought of something and would call he always said I’ve already taken care of that. Indeed, it was. I could not have chosen a better establishment. My family thought I was the planner of the year, but it was all McWhite’s. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
I’ve been meaning to write this review for months and passed by there today and thought about it but I wasn’t even there for myself I was there with my friend who loss her son and I must say the service was impeccable and the cleanliness and appearance of the place was on point. I remember when this was old Coleman’s and they have done extensive work especially on the inside. I didn’t know about them but this is seriously a hidden gem. Their cars were top of the line. They made sure we knew they owned their cars. I can’t wait to see the motorcycle hearse or something like that in person but she ended up going with the Rolls Royce (I think that’s the name hearse)... read full review
