“After moving here, I searched for more than 2 years for someone who knew how to cut hair. Several bad haircuts later, I finally found Dixys at Lush! I knew right away that she was the one, because she analyzed my hair, asked about my hair routine and concerns, and actually listened. She offered suggestions, while still allowing me to make the final decisions – a perfect collaboration!
Her cut is absolute precision, which makes sense given her Vidal Sassoon training. Her blowout is perfection. All of this is even more impressive, since I've got thick, coarse, curly/wavy CRAZY hair!
I was so glad that Lush is a low key neighborhood spot, because long ago i swore off the big, fancy-schmancy salons, since the atmosphere was always so impersonal. Not so at Lush! Dixys and team always make me feel at home. On my last visit, they made me the most delicious cuban coffee!
Parking is super easy. I almost always get a spot right on their block.
