Dogs and Stripes Canine Training and Boarding We couldn’t be more pleased with our experience at Dogs and Stripes Canine Training and Boarding! From the moment we entrusted them with our three fur babies, we knew they were in the best hands. Matteo, also known as “Uncle Matt”—truly has the biggest heart when it comes to animals. His compassion, affection, and genuine love for what he does shine through in every interaction. Knowing he has veterinary technician experience along with extensive training expertise gave us such peace of mind while we were away. The entire team is not only incredibly caring but also efficient and attentive. The facility itself is absolutely immaculate, which speaks volumes about the level of care and professionalism they provide. It’s not easy leaving your pets behind, but Dogs and Stripes made it so much easier for us. We felt completely at ease knowing our babies were safe, happy, and loved. We truly can’t say enough wonderful things about Mateo and his team—highly, highly recommend
We had such a wonderful experience with Matteo at Dogs and Stripes! From the very beginning, he was incredibly structured, patient, and kind — you can truly tell how much he cares about the dogs he works with. He treated our dog like family the entire time, which gave us so much peace of mind. Our dog used to be very scared of other dogs, and Matteo did an amazing job socializing him at a pace that felt safe and positive. The progress we’ve seen has been incredible — he’s more confident, calmer around other dogs, and now actually comes back when we call him, which felt impossible before! We’re so grateful for the time, dedication, and heart Matteo puts into his training and boarding. Highly recommend to anyone looking for someone who combines structure with genuine care. We will absolutely be back!
Very pleased! We recently boarded our 3 year old frenchie for a long weekend with Dogs and Stripes, and were impressed by Matteo and his compound. Not only does he board, but he is a trainer and a licensed animal medic. You can tell he genuinely loves animals ~ they are all over his growing compound! I was a little reserved first coming to Matteo only because I have only boarded my frenchie with one another boarder since he was a puppy, but he recently sold his place and moved north. After searching on Facebook and my neighbor group page, I found Matteo! So many of my local neighbors and the community spoke highly of him and his services. I’m happy I found Matteo ~ he is now our forever go to for boarding and daycare.
