Please do a better job if you’re needing referrals done due to change of insurance. I was scheduled to have a follow up with. Dr. Feria at the Coral Springs location, but due to the fact that your office decided to reach out to me 24 hours before the appointment would start. There was a high probability that the referral wouldn’t have been done. I think in the future your office needs to reach out to patients at least a week before if you need referrals done before the appointment even starts I got a registration email as early as Sunday I filled it out. I never got a phone call from the doctors office on Monday that should’ve been done right then and there. Never had a problem before when I was on Medicaid, but due to the fact that I had to switch my insurance temporarily, and I gave ample notice long before my appointment contact the patients in advance in the future.
My first visit was in January to be tested for penicillin. Dr told me the process when scheduled for the test of needles than oral and the whole thing would be 3-4 hours. First available appt was in March. Day before the test they canceled the appt because they didn't receive the supplies. 2 months not enough time? After discussing the situation with the office manager, they found the supplies! Showed up for the appt only to find out I need another appt for an oral test. The next available date is April 24! Nursing staff was defensive and unprofessional, Dr intervened and resolved the issue but took her hearing about an irate patient!
