“When I first went to Dr. Long, I had had Bell’s Palsy for about 6 weeks. I
immediately found her to be kind, warm and immensely interested in helping
me.
She did advise me that I had a few strikes against me which would slow down
my recovery - I was 70 years old, had a sluggish immune system due to a
severe allergic reaction to the Covid vaccine, and was suffering with
Polymyalgia Rheumatica.
Also, had I come to her earlier, I would have had a better likelihood of
recovery.
I found going to Dr. Long a very healing experience in addition to the
acupuncture treatments because she was so encouraging and deeply committed
to my recovery.
After about 3 months of treatment with her, I am seeing profound
improvements with my eye and I can almost fully smile again.
I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to be treated by Dr. Long, and
really appreciate her commitment to my return to wellness.“
