Working with this business was a great experience. Their price was fair and within our budget! They were here on time, and as promised, and also careful of our landscaping. Each day they went around and cleaned up all their odds and ends. All important bullet points for me because I’m fussy. :( I would (and did) highly recommend them.

Lee and Scott, owners of Freedom Roofers, are two of the most down-to-earth roofing contractors I have had the pleasure to do business with. Even before exchanging a dollar or getting a commitment from us, they were extremely generous with their time, helping us to navigate the requirements set forth by citizens Insurance to maintain homeowners insurance on the 91-year-old house we purchase last year here in Vero Beach. I I have a tendency to do my best to understand work being done by others, sometimes to people's chagrin (just ask the staff in the labor and delivery department of Cleveland clinic Vero Beach! 😁). whereas several others supposed contractors didn't bother following up after hearing our situation, both Lee and Scott not only followed up with answers, but made sure that their answers made sense to me. I don't know the statistics but I would guess that most small single story a single-family homes in Florida are not as old as ours and, while I see this as a virtue, it goes without saying that citizens insurance does not agree. and, while I appreciate the Florida building code's attempt at mitigating future failures, I understand that in writing such code, it is most typically newer style construction that is being considered in setting the standards. Best example would be roof decking: any newer home will have OSB or some other form of sheet ply sheathing (decking) as the base onto which the roofing underlayment etc is attached. Back in 1933, it was solid planks of tongue & groove pine. if one looks at the latest revisions to the codes, it shows that all roof decking must be fastened 6" on center. before looking up the statutes myself, I pose this question or really made the statement to a handful of other roofers, none of whom were able to give a satisfactory answer. Long story short, freedom roofers not only came in with one of the better prices, they provided piece of mind knowing that the job would be done correctly and in a manner that would prevent our homeowners insurance from not being renewed. if you are in need of a re-roof or anything else pertaining to your roofing system, I wouldn't hesitate to call Freedom Roofers, LLC.
