I made an appointment for an estimate for sod removal and replacement with Victor for 1 pm on a Wednesday. I waited until 3:30 and Victor never showed up. Only upon calling the office did I learn he wasn't coming and couldn't come until 5:30 in the afternoon. No one ever called to let me know he wasn't coming earlier in the day. Time wasted. Then after he finally arrived, he measured the small areas that needed sod replaced, I gave him my credit card to pay a $250 deposit but the charge on my statement was $264. The office informed me (after the fact) that a 5.5% cc fee was added to my charge. I was furious he didn't let me know this when I agreed to his proposal. No disclosure of this fee whatsoever. DO NOT HIRE "A CUT ABOVE THE BEST"! THEY ARE POOR BUSINESS PEOPLE. Unreliable and crooked!

BUYER BEWARE! Hard to set up initial appointments Then got an estimate for some privacy bushes / hedges We decided to add 5 more which we knew would be a bit more money NOT double the price !!! Unfortunately and stupidly we didn't get a signed contract for the extra bushes !! The head guy said it would be extra YES we knew this but not the amount we were charged !!! DOUBLE!! RIP OFF COMPANY !!!

Definitely listen to the other reviews. Quoted 16k to place curbing and stone but the final bill was 26k without ever attempting to provide additional quotes. I asked the question about whether or not the curbing would make the water drainage worse near my AC units. I was told “we will take care of the drainage”. Not sure what that meant… but on the bill, there were several French drains installed without ever providing a quote in the amount of $3798.00. We had them trim our 5 Arica palms in our backyard.
