Our greyhound, Bella, eat 2 pices of my medical marijuana chocolate. We new we had to act fast to spare Bella from a horrible reaction. We called Urgent Vet and they had us bring her in immediately so they could make her vomit. When we got there they were ready and wasted no time with paper work. Within 5 minutes the vet had her throw up most of the chocolate. Then the vet tech came in, told us the other things the vet wanted to do, gave us an estimate and had us fill out very basic information. After, the vet was sure Bella was no longer in immediate danger, she came in to introduce herself and assure us that Bella would be fine. We felt they took care of Bella as if she was a dog they had known for years. There compassion and warmth touched both my husband and I. We know exactly where to go if we have another emergency. We would highly recommend Urgent Vet!

Vet seemed afraid of cat. Tech was inept. We were charged $135 for an examination that NEVER happened! Fortunately, just as we were to leave for their office Sunday morning, we received a message that the office would be closed on Sunday due to an emergency. I say lucky because the 24/7 Vet Clinic we went to had their on site lab and were $1200 cheaper for the same services promised by these folks.

We took our 6 year old Great Dane into this UrgentVet to get checked for what looked like a severe case of bloat with potential flipped stomach. When the vet saw her, she didn’t even do an exam! She hovered over her to take a look at her and told us she was critical and she needed to be euthanized or go straight to surgery. She didn’t even touch our girl. When we asked for medicine to help through the process of her passing at home, she gave no other options and refused to treat her with medicine until we did a $800 plus x-ray.
We cannot afford surgery and decided to bring our Dane home for the night to pass peacefully…
Our Dane made it through the night. If UrgentVet doctors would do a more thorough job, they could have tried to actually diagnose her without worrying about dollar signs.
We took our Dane to our vet the next morning and confirmed with an actual exam that she was going to be okay.
If we would have gone through with euthanization, we would have prematurely lost our baby.
Shame on you and your team. How disheartening.
Please choose another practice to take pet emergencies to.

We brought our dog in because she started limping and holding her paw up. The people at this Pet Urgent Care were so kind and the doctor gave us a couple of options. Of course while we were there she stopped limping so we chose to wait and see. The great thing is that if we did need to bring her back today there would be no charge for the visit. Today someone called and asked how our girl was doing, too. I would definitely go there again if we needed to. I highly recommend them. The cost was very reasonable, too.

Veterinarian and tech were very knoledgeable, but the most important is that the check my dog was a room with us, not like other places that they take the dog to the back to keep them in a cage, until someone feels like checking on them. I will definitely recommend it
