I’ve been using this facility for roughly ten years. It was good from the start but it has continued to improve as time goes on. I’m grateful for everything they are able to provide at this location. I seem to have a stable medical team now and I’m seeing familiar faces for once. It’s nice.

This archaic POS clinic needs to be revamped. The VA still doesn’t have a national system that can confirm you’re a disabled vet quickly and efficiently. This place makes you check in with an “Eligibility” clerk despite the fact that you have a VA-issued card. It’s a total waste of time for veterans.

As of May 2026 it’s just not a good clinic. Response times are awful, community care referral takes 6-8 weeks just to get assigned to a local office, primary care clinics take 3-4 days to respond. I’ve used 3 clinics since retirement and this is the first one I’ve strongly considered foregoing and just paying for care via Tricare. Had to ask 3 times to get the routine referrals I asked for at my annual. Really wish the region would focus on getting this facility up to speed.

It's the phone system that needs improve need. The doctors are very knowledgeable. Some of them are better than others. However, lap's is wonderful you get in and out, scans you can get in and out. So much easier than those big hospitals + those doctors care. Plus the nurses care very much about their veterans
