Just returned from Dr. Clarissa Abrantes MD office for our quarterly medical check-up. Wow!!!! What a change has happened in that office since our last visit 4 months ago. The new & old existing staff has made a 100% turn around in the running of that medical office. Everyone seemed very upbeat, attentive to the patients, efficient, and above all happy to be at work. Dr. Abrantes is always at the top of her game, but with this efficient staff it seems like it gave her more time to spend with the patients. When I relocated to the area four years ago, I sought continuing care from an oncologist.  At my first visit I asked the oncologist for a recommendation for a primary care physician. Dr. Clarissa Abrantes was the first physician I contacted. I was somewhat apprehensive at the first visit, but she quickly put me at ease with her warmth and kind demeanor. I was most impressed that when she walked into the exam room for the first time, she obviously had made the effort to completely review the medical records provided by my previous physician. Dr. Abrantes and entire medical staff are by far the best Primary Care providers that I have had in the Villages area. Dr. Abranteslistens to your concerns and if needed recommends a specialist.I hope you never leave the area Dr. Abrantes.Betty Cloud
