We are incredibly grateful for Mrs. Brittany and Westchase Music School. Our daughter began her violin journey with Mrs. Brittany in the summer before 6th grade and continued lessons all the way through her high school graduation. Mrs. Brittany's boundless patience and remarkable ability to inspire a genuine love for music truly transformed our daughter's shy beginnings into a confident, accomplished violinist. Westchase Music School is a fantastic institution that fosters musical growth in its students. It has been the perfect complement to her time in middle school and high school orchestra. We have been with Westchase Music School since the year it opened. It has always been a great place for a child’s first foray into learning music. The staff is talented, knowledgeable, and kind. It has proven a great place for growth as well— if your child wants to try a different instrument or try voice, they have an instructor there who teaches it and is willing to give you a lesson. If your child wants to try to write a song themselves, the teachers happily help them with that process. If your child would like to perform with other students or duet with a teacher, they will work with everyone’s schedules to make it happen. The speed of your child’s progression in an instrument is dictated only by the child’s willingness to practice and desire to improve. Overall, our time with Westchase Music School has been a very positive one, and we would recommend it to any family starting their musical journey.
My daughter took lessons here with Ms. Katherine for around two years or so and absolutely loved the experience. It helped her discover how much she loves to play music and wants to continue learning additional instruments.
