Switched to Nextech from ModMed, and we were able to increase our patient throughput by 150% vs ModMed when factoring in the lower time of patient charting and ability to scribe in real time. Went from struggling to see 25-30 pts a day and even with scribes always having incomplete notes to go back through, to seeing 65+ pts in an 8hr day and the scribe is done with most notes, coding, and billing before I even leave the room. Extremely easy to look back through the chart and see every procedure and review the notes, and one of the reasons it has 80% market share of retina market (although I am a cataract/refractive subspecialist). I would like to commend Nextech on a wonderful conference and for bringing on Touch MD. The platform seems amazing, but we have not implemented it as of yet since we are currently in the process of being trained. I would like to personally thank Tyler Terry, the Touch MD representative who went out of his way during the busy conference to accommodate our schedule. He was kind and courteous and even stayed after the conference to assure that all of our questions were answered. He is a true asset to both Touch MD and to Nextech.
