After my husband and I moved to Tampa I started looking for a Rheumatologist, I found one but he had just retired, I kept searching and I came across a Doctor Joel Silverfield, I read the reviews and they were glowing. I decided to make an appointment, I was told they did not have anything until 8 months later, I was disappointed but I took it.
I am glad I did, Dr Silverfield is a very good doctor, he listens to you and you get the feeling that he really wants to help you and get to know you.
We have short chats, I actually look forward to seeing him.
He has such a pleasant bedside manner and really listens to the patient! He reviewed all my recent testing and explained it thoroughly. We came up with a plan together to manage my symptoms.
No other doctor or rheumatologist in Tampa comes close to Dr. Silverfield for patient care, basic human decency, competence and expertise in his field, and just being a really cool guy. He’s just the best. Thank you Dr. Silverfield, Nikole, and amazing staff!
