I’m thrilled that my retina specialist referred me to Frances and Dr. Pei. Even with progression of macular degeneration, I am seeing better than I thought possible. Frances’ expertise, passion and good humor made my lens fitting experience fun and with totally satisfying results. Frances is a great listener and she thoughtfully tailored her recommendations very specially to my individual situation. Clearly, that should always be the case but I have never experienced this level of concern and guidance. I thought it counter-intuitive to move from progressives but I trusted Frances. I’m so glad I did. She was so right and I’m never going anywhere else.

I recently have changed to Eyewear Design by Francis. May be the smartest thing I’ve ever done, especially for my eyes. I had a very thorough examination by Dr.Pie. As a result of the examination, Dr. pie was able to upgrade my vision. I met with Francis Who helped me put together a plan using glasses combined with contacts. If you’re looking for someone to care for your eyes, I highly recommend them.

Frances is such a dream! Not only did she masterfully and passionately fix my very bent sunglass frames, but we had such a lovely conversation about life while she worked! I will definitely be going back there and sending everyone I know her way. Thank you Frances, the magician optician!
