Formed in 1984, and certified by the City of Tampa as a Minority Business Enterprise, Cox Fire has successfully designed, fabricated, installed, and maintained fire sprinkler and protection systems of all types in some of this area’s most recognizable buildings. Cox Fire has branch offices across the state of Florida to deliver consistent quality covering much of Florida.

Terrible service and high prices. We had a service agreement with them, after they replaced our fire system. Made appointment for regular inspection and was told they did not need anyone to be there. The guy arrived and immediately phoned someone who is not the correct contact. She knew nothing about it and we have never ascertained why he was calling anyone in the first place. He left without doing the service. Excuse later given was that they would have to set off the alarm and we have required advance notice for that so we could notify alarm company. Now they installed the alarm and know that it can be silenced. Their own information for this inspection says that it will go off, unless it can be silenced. We were not told of this or given the written information in advance. Now they require that we pay them in advance for all work because we refused to pay the trip charge for that wasted trip!! Since Scott Cox took over form his parents, the service is terrible. Their accounts receivable person called yesterday, wanting to know where their check was for the work they have not performed or even scheduled. They only sent the invoice a week ago.
these clowns have been at our complex all day. about 90 minutes ago they set off the fire alarm, forcing the entire building to evacuate. the fire department came and left, but the alarm is still going off and they have no idea how to stop it. if these guys are "experts," I'd hate to see what the amateurs are like. Talk about incompetence!
I had a representative come and look at a property for me for a quote for a Fire Sprinkler system for a business I am opening. He came out on March 20th and was going to send information to Mike Zondlo (I assume owner), to email me a quote. I was supposed to get a quote over two weeks ago. Not only have I not gotten a quote, he refuses to answer his business phone or call me back. I have tried reaching him for over three weeks. Unfortunately, if you dont want to waste time or energy I would look elsewhere as now I have to.
